Our Services
Support Through Case Management
At the Tioga County Homeless Initiative, our commitment to serving individuals and families extends beyond providing shelter. Through our dedicated case management services, we work one-on-one with each guest to support their unique journey toward stability, independence, and long-term success.
Our case managers are here to walk alongside guests every step of the way, offering guidance, advocacy, and encouragement. We take a compassionate and personalized approach to understand each guest’s needs and help connect them with resources that can make a lasting difference.
Our case management services include:
Assistance with finding permanent or transitional housing
Support with applying for public benefits and social services
Help obtaining vital documents such as photo identification, Social Security cards, and birth certificates
Employment referrals and job-readiness support, including resume assistance and interview preparation
Connections to local mental health, substance use recovery, and medical care providers
Life skills education to help individuals prepare for independent living
Transportation assistance for appointments, job interviews, and housing-related needs
Ongoing encouragement and accountability to help guests set and reach their goals
Our approach is rooted in compassion and respect. We strive to understand each guest’s circumstances and provide the support they need to move forward with hope and confidence. At TCHI, every individual matters, and our case managers are here to help build a strong foundation for a brighter future.
