Support Through Case Management

At the Tioga County Homeless Initiative, our commitment to serving individuals and families extends beyond providing shelter. Through our dedicated case management services, we work one-on-one with each guest to support their unique journey toward stability, independence, and long-term success.

Our case managers are here to walk alongside guests every step of the way, offering guidance, advocacy, and encouragement. We take a compassionate and personalized approach to understand each guest’s needs and help connect them with resources that can make a lasting difference.

Our case management services include:

  • Assistance with finding permanent or transitional housing

  • Support with applying for public benefits and social services

  • Help obtaining vital documents such as photo identification, Social Security cards, and birth certificates

  • Employment referrals and job-readiness support, including resume assistance and interview preparation

  • Connections to local mental health, substance use recovery, and medical care providers

  • Life skills education to help individuals prepare for independent living

  • Transportation assistance for appointments, job interviews, and housing-related needs

  • Ongoing encouragement and accountability to help guests set and reach their goals
